All of these recordings have been issued before, but this is a pretty commendable collection. At under $4 a disc it is quite a good value. Some of the performances could be said to be 'best choices'; Bernstein's Vienna 5th, Solti's 8th, Karajan's 9th. Others you might choose to quibble with.
