Anyways, somebody has gotta help me with this. My Genisys is dead!! Won't do anything when I hit the button. Monday, I pulled it out, turned it on, it started booting, then, dead. Hasn't done anything since.
I pulled out the charger, won't come on. I tested the charger, got 16 volts, pulled out the battery, got 9 volts, plugged the charger in, got 15 volts through there, so it is not a voltage problem. Can anyone help a brotha out!!??

They find memory card and ship to me with in 24 hours (go figure) week 3. Boots to blue screen. Tech support says 'memory card, 4 weeks out' I say REFUND! Card arrives in 48 hours Week 4. (just like yours) call um up. They say time for new unit (it's 4 weeks old) ship at your expense to us, we'll replace it as soon as the back orders are filled.
They sent a call tag and are trying to fix it. I'd be pucked if my mac dealer had not loaned me a used brick. (that I am likely going to buy) It was said friends don't let friends buy electronic OTC tools. I must say, I agree. I bought the thing trying to save a little $ over the modis. Now all I got is a empty drawer and a 3500 dollar bill.
Well, I figured out that the screen is screwed up. I can turn it on, and if you put it in the right light, the screen is on, just extremely extremely dim.
Anyone know where I can get one? Greg, how are things in the Republic? As i remember had the same problem, only i could still see abit of the screen? Turn on tool, go to main menu, (programs available:) then to System setup, then Contrast adjust.adjust your contrast then go to hardware tests,and do a hardware test. Hope this helps buddy.

Just wondering cause a few days ago i upgraded to 3.0 and also had issues. Took me about 3 hours to figure out my card reader is bad and kept screwing up the software download i tried my buddys card reader and like freaking magic it worked:wallbash.
